RSSU General Assembly re-elects Oleg Matytsin as President

Oleg Matytsin re-elected as RSSU President

MOSCOW On November 9th, 2012 the General Assembly of the Russian Students Sport Union (RSSU) was held in Moscow, at the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism.  125 delegates from 47 regional branches of the Russian Students Sport Union took part in the Assembly.

Russian state authorities were represented by the Presidential Executive Office, Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Russian State Duma, Russian Olympic Committee, Government of Krasnoyarsk Region.

During the RSSU General Assembly, the new Executive Board was elected. Mr Oleg Matytsin was re-elected for the position of the RSSU President for the 4-year term 2012-2016.

After the official results were announced, Mr Oleg Matysin thanked the Assembly delegates for having been re-elected for this position again and congratulated other elected board members.

Mr Oleg Matytsin is also the FISU 1st Vice-President and EUSA Vice-President.
