The new TUSF Executive Board
ANKARA – The 3rd General Assembly of Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF) was held on October 6th, 2012 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
The General Assembly members (187 delegates from the 130 universities) voted for a new Executive Committee Board.
FISU Executive Committee member Kemal Tamer was re-elected as the president of the Turkish University Sports Federation for a new four-year period (2012-2016).
After the official results were announced, Mr. Tamer thanked the General Assembly delegates for the confidence.
Mr. Tamer has been the president of TUSF since 1996 when the TUSF was founded. During his presidency in 16 years period, TUSF hosted many international events, the most important being the 2005 Summer Universiade in İzmir and the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum.
Mr. Tamer is also a member of the EUSA Executive Board.
