TEHRAN – On June, 12th, 2012, Ms. Verena Burk, FISU Assessor Chair of the FISU International Press Committee, in Tehran attending an international media seminar as keynote speaker, visited the National University Sports Federation of Iran. Dr. Manouchehr Zandi, vice president of the International Sports Press Association and Dr. Abdolhamid Ahmadi, one of the AIPS members also attended this visit. 
They had an inspection visit from the facilities of the NUSF and met all different departments of the federation including the international affairs department, public relations department, secretariat, and financial affairs department. All the members were introduced to them and a brief explanation of their duties was described.
Dr. Amin Gholami, International affairs director gave a complete report on the national and international activities of the federation in recent years and clarified the performance of the organization. Dr. Mahdi Talebpour, NUSF President, described the federation structure and stated about the federation relations with other various sport organizations and associations. He also talked about the capability and capacity of the federation and the future aims of the organization.
At the end some gifts were presented as a memento from Iran and the authorities exchanged presents.
