QUEBEC CITY – FISU is currently present at the 2012 edition of the SportAccord Convention which this year takes place in Quebec City, Canada, form May 20th to 25th. Representing FISU at the event are FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien, Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond, Directors Milan Augustin (WU), Marc Vandenplas (SU), Laurent Briel (Development) and Dejan Susovic (Media). FISU is present with an information booth. The Organizing Committees of Almaty (2017 WU) and Gwangju (2015 SU) are present as well.
Originally launched in 2003, SportAccord International Convention is a 6-day gathering of more than 1,500 leading representatives from international sport. It offers the sports family a powerful opportunity to come together on a global scale, in an exclusive and authoritative networking environment, to build relationships, share knowledge and develop ideas that will benefit the entire community.
