The new USS Executive Committee: Angela Jowitt, Fila Fuamatu, Lipine Peresetene and Tony Siamomua
SAMOA – At a recent special general meeting a new Board was elected by the membership of University Sport Samoa.
Outgoing President Hobart Vaai was excited by the prospects of the future of USS. “I hand over the reigns to Lipine Peresetene and a young, committed and vibrant committee. Lipine is a committed individual who has represented our country with distinction in sports and is a graduate of University of South Australia’ said Vaai.
In his acceptance speech as incoming President Mr Perestene gave great credit to the work done by Mr Vaai in supporting USS through a period of change. Mr Perestene noted that the newly elected committee are unified in moving the organization to a more prosperous future, based on hardwork and most importantly restoring USS to transparency and accountability.
