The solemn Kazan 2013 Ambassador initiation ceremony took place in Orenburg State University. Credentials were handed over by Larisa Sulima, Advisor to the Director General and Chief of Staff of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. «Healthy youth is a healthy nation! We are proud that today our Team 2013 got another new member, a celebrated athlete Alexander Doboskok. He will become an idol for youth and will be a worthy ambassador of the 2013 Summer Universiade in Orenburg!», Larisa Sulima said confidently.

«I’m greatly honored that from the list of many worthy athletes my home region chose me to be appointed the Kazan 2013 Ambassador. I always dreamed to be part of the World University Games, but unfortunately, it never happened. But now, as a Kazan 2013 Ambassador, I will take part in the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan. In the meantime, two years prior to the start of the Games, I will be promoting the Universiade, because I’m confident that the World University Games is a unique youth competition, whose atmosphere can be compared only to the Olympics», the new Kazan 2013 Ambassador said.

It’s noteworthy that 29-year old Alexander Dobroskok is a merited master of sports and holder of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland (2nd class), which was given to him for his big contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, and the greatest sports achievements at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
