Erzurum-The first International Technical Committee meeting (CTI) took place at the Palan Hotel which is one the FISU Headquarters in Erzurum. All FISU Technical Delegates for the Winter Universiade sports were present, as well as their counterparts of the International Sports Federations and from the Erzurum OC. They were all welcomed by Roger Roth, CTI Chair and Milan Augustin, FISU Director for the Winter Universiade.
During the meeting all technicalities of the WU were reviewed. Muhtar Kurt of the OC pointed out the present challenge with the snow conditions and asked for cooperation of the technical delegates with any of these issues.
During this meeting all the CT Chairs were asked to make a brief report about the situation in their sports. They were all very satisfied with the preparations so far.
Roger Roth took this opportunity also to thanks the organisers for their excellent job and pointed out the fact that they will have to continue to work with FISU people as a team in order to make these Games a huge success.
