
FRANKFURT – FISU Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond and the FISU Director of Media and Communication Dejan Susovic travelled to Frankfurt to meet with the Chair and Vice-Chair of the International Press Committee Leonz Eder and Verena Burk, both coming back from the International Sports’ Journalists Seminar in Tehran through Frankfurt Airport.
The four FISU representatives discussed a large agenda. Among the topics were the relations to AIPS and the situation with the program for the young sports journalists during the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, the goals and composition of the IPC in the future and the structure and content of the FISU magazine in relation to the newly established editorial board.
Furthermore contents like the FISU Website and other Social Media tools were discussed as well as the contract with Sportcal.com and the report from Mr Susovic about the TV preparations for the upcoming Universiades in Erzurum, Shenzhen and Kazan.
A detailed report, including also the contribution of FISU to the International Sports’ Journalists Seminar in Tehran, will be presented to the FISU Executive Committee at its next meeting in November in Brussels.
