PARIS – Professor Claude-Louis GALLIEN, FISU 1st Vice-President and CESU Chair has been elected member of the board of the French Academy for Sports (l’Académie des Sports).
Founded in 1905, the ‘Académie des Sports’, composed of fifty persons who devote themselves to promote the best in sport, occupies an important place in the French sports world. More than a century, the Academy has been promoting all the good sport can bring to our society: the taste for effort, the feeling of solidarity and the respect of ethics which lead to personal development and collective success.
The board of the ‘Académie des Sports’, chaired by Emmanuel RODOCANACHI, former Universiade Fencing Champion, counts 10 members, elected for a four-year mandate.
