
Lausanne – Yesterday, May 18th, FISU Finance Director Uyan Bekhbat and FISU Administration & Human Resources General Manager François-Philippe Draguet attended the Administration and Finance Seminar in Lausanne, Switzerland organized by MSI together with TSE Consulting.
Under the theme of Managing the Budgeting Process, Uyan Bekhbat presented FISU’s work in this field having gathered much acclaim from fellow Administration and Finance colleagues of other international federations and organisations.
The purpose of this seminar was to share examples of how different sports federations manage their budgeting process to help the participant organisations re-think and maximise the effectiveness of their own processes.
The goal of providing participants with a behind-the-scenes understanding of how other sports handle their budgeting process in order to review and improve their own processes’ was well achieved.
International federations present included the International Aeronautical Federation FAI, the International Basketball Association FIBA, the International Baseball Federation IBAF, the Gymnastics International Federation FIG, the International Hockey Federation FIH, the International Motorcycling Federation FIM, the World Taekwondo Federation WTF, the World Federation of Sports Goods Industry WFSGI and the Physical Education and Sports Service SEPS.
