Today, April 8th, a number of working sessions took place at the FISU Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The WUC Committee, the Development Committee and the History Committee started their two-day meetings with the designated FISU Staff members.
The Committee for the Development of University Sport was attended by Stefan Bergh, Chair; Pedro Dias, Vice Chair and Alison Odell, Member and FISU Staff members Eric Saintrond, Secretary General/CEO; Kolë Gjeloshaj, Director Educational and Development Services and Taryn Barry, Assistant Educational and Development Services.
During its first session the CDSU discussed the different projects submissions and reports from the FISU membership, the calendar of events, the attendance to meetings of the Continental University Sport Associations and the communication between the Continental Associations and Regional Associations.
During the afternoon session the FISU Strategy for 2011-2015 was tackled. For this session, Haue Pedersen and Quah Boon, TSE Representatives joined the meeting as well as Paulo Ferreira, Executive Assistant Lausanne Office.
