Today, February 12th, Verena Burk, FISU Assessor and Chair of the FISU Women’s Committee visited the FISU Headquarters in Brussels for a working session to prepare the next meeting of the Women’s Committee with the FISU Staff members involved.
Mrs. Burke overviewed the Committee’s budget and discussed the keynote speakers for the Subtheme ‘Women’s leadership in University Sport’ at the 2010 FISU Forum in Vigo, Spain.
She also reviewed the criteria for the 2011 FISU Women and Sport Award and discussed the relations with other sport and women’s organisations and networking opportunities for the Women’s Committee with Kolë Gjeloshaj, FISU Director of Education.
