On November 8th, 2009, the 14th General Assembly of FEHSU, the National University Sports Federation of Haiti took place in Port-au-Prince, the capital of the Republic of Haiti. Delegates from 15 universities were present.
In his speech FEHSU President Michel Dossous asked the FEHSU partners to help him stage the first national university games in May 2010. FEHSU Secretary-General Erby Beralte discussed the same theme quoting that the organization of these national games is the only way to move Haitian university sport out of its lethargic state.
Besides the national games, other activities were proposed as well to re-boost university sport in Haiti.
FEHSU President Michel Dossous
