In lieu of a scheduled volleyball tournament, university sport athletes assisted with clean up efforts on the south side of Samoa’s Upolu Island. The national volleyball tournament, scheduled for the Saturday following the horrific tsunami of Tuesday, September 29th was cancelled as most of the country reached out to those who suffered in the natural disaster. These athletes gathered to assist with salvage and clean-up of one of the affected areas.
