USSA (formerly SASSU), the South African FISU Member Association, proudly announces the appointment of two of its former board members in important high-level sport managing functions. Both men currently hold a function within FISU as well.
Mr. Malesela Maleka, a previous SASSU Development Officer and President, has been appointed Chef de Mission of Team South Africa for the 2012 Olympic Games. Mr Maleka is currently a member of the FISU International Press Commission.
Mr. Dave Carr, a former SASSU Vice-President and Treasurer, has been appointed Chef de Mission for Team South Africa to the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Mr. Carr is currently the FISU Technical Chair for Field Hockey.
