KRASNOYARSK – The Director General of the Russian State Circus Company (Rosgostsirk) Dmitry Ivanov arrived in Krasnoyarsk on a working visit. As a part of the visit Dmitry Ivanov took part in the working meeting, attended by the Director General of the ANO ‘Executive Directorate of the 29th Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk’ Maxim Urazov and the Director of the Krasnoyarsk circus Alexander Ryzhov.

At the meeting, participants discussed issues related to the repairs of the Krasnoyarsk circus and the specially designed ‘Rosgotsirk’ project, which will become one of the components of the Winter Universiade 2019 cultural programme.

This autumn demolition works are planned and renovation works of the circus building will start. As previously noted, after the renovation the facade will be refreshed, on which a large screen and modern lighting will appear. Next to the circus there will be public gardens, objects d’art and reconstructed fountains. Changes will also affect the indoor premises. Comfortable chairs, modern lighting and sound equipment, which will allow to show not only circus programmes, but also organize real shows, will be installed in the auditorium. The circus will turn into a multi-functional venue.

“For the Winter Universiade 2019, the Krasnoyarsk Circus will become one of the city’s main attractions together with Tatyshev Park and Stolby Nature Reserve. After the Universiade, the city will get a modern venue as a legacy” – noted the Director General of the ANO ‘Executive Directorate of the 29th Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk’ Maxim Urazov.
