LEBANON – In celebration of the International Day of University Sport, the Lebanese American University (LAU) where EduC member Sami Garabedian is the Director of Athletics, organized a series of activities for students, faculty and staff.
Close to about 250 of the LAU community participated in activities such as table tennis, 3×3 basketball, mixed volleyball, 1×1 futsal, blindfold handball penalty shootout, foot-volleyball, and hit the target soccer drill.
It was an opportunity for all participants to have fun, take a break from their daily work routine and enjoy the benefits of engaging in sport.
Lectures on anti-doping, healthy eating habits and exercise benefits are also scheduled throughout the month.
