The first competition day of the 14th World University Golf Championship was full of interesting moments.
In the men’s category the representative of Spain Jacobo Pastor Lopez lead after the first round with the great result of 64 (-8) , the second with result 67 (-5) is Philip Eriksson from Sweden, tied with Spaniard Jose Bondia Gil.
The women’s competition was twice interrupted by thunderstorms, for now Spanish Camilo Hedberg Bertrand leads with 68 (-4), followed by Sophia Popov, 69 (-3) from Germany and in third spot French Clotilde Chatoz 70 (-2).
The women’s 1st round will continue tomorrow.
