Chinese Delegates at the accreditation desk
Heads of Delegations of Universiade Belgrade 2009 participant countries will visit Belgrade between March 19th and 22nd.
The meeting of Heads of Delegations is the most important event preceding the Summer Universiade and the last test undertaken by international officials as to the readiness of Serbia to host the Games. It will be the chance for the representatives of the participant countries to see where they will be residing and where their athletes will compete.
Belgrade will receive 88 representatives from 45 participant countries which arrive today.
The Heads of Delegation will have a very busy schedule, including the visit to venues, starting with the formal visit to the University Village on Thursday, March 19th, at 11 am.
On Saturday, in the Sava Center, which will serve as the MPC during the Universiade, between 3pm and 6pm, the draw of the team sports will be held.
