Incheon Asian Games Debriefing
INCHEON – 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organizing Committee attended the ‘2014 Incheon Asian Games Debriefing’, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) to share the experience and know-how of games operation during the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. The Debriefing was attended by members of the GUOC, as well as Incheon Asian Games, Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Gwangju City, and Incheon City officials to hear the final reports from the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee on the recently completed Games. Especially, around 80 members of GUOC and Gwangju city officials were in attendance and took part in the discussion of various areas including games management, games operation, cultural events, international affairs, PR and media, operations support, infrastructure, and support from local government (facilities, transportation, accommodation, food sanitation).
Han Min-ho, the Director of the International Sports Division (MCST), said, “We hope the experiences of the Incheon Asian Games will be able to serve as groundwork for a successful delivery of the upcoming international events, the Gwangju Universiade and the Pyeongchang Olympics.”
