FISU launches 3rd FISU Gender Equality Sport Award

LAUSANNE/BRUSSELS – FISU launches the 3rd FISU Gender Equality Sport Award, which will be awarded during the General Assembly at the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, Russian Federation.

The FISU Gender Equality Committee’s vision of this award is to promote and encourage the higher integration of women in sport at all levels. The FISU Gender Equality Sport Award will be awarded to an existing project developed by a Federation, an Organisation, an Institution or an Individual. Special attention will be given to projects that could act as models for other countries, regions and/or continents.

Below you will find the guidelines that will assist you to better understand the requirements and application procedures, as well as to help you launch the procedures for the award in your own country.

Please be aware that the deadline to receive your submissions is March 31st, 2013 and only submissions directly from the Member Federations well be accepted.
