2017 SU Taipei Talks No 9 online for viewing

Summer Games 28 August 2017

TAIPEI CITY – The FISU Young Reporters continue their quest for interesting stories at the Universiade in Taipei. And once more they succeeded! Proof is this 9th edition of the Taipei Talks.

Do you believe in ghosts? Doesn’t matter if you do or don’t. FISU Young Photographer Badru Katumba couldn’t capture any ghosts on film, so he wrote an interesting article about the topic that seems to be a big thing in Taipei as we are right in the middle of the ‘Ghost Month’!

At the FISU World Conference, Taipei Talks sat down with NCAA Mark Emmert for a chat about the challenges in university sport.

Also small delegations are presence felt at the Universiade. Young Reporter Rafaela Almeida Burity talked to Mario Alvarez, the first-ever player from Nicaragua to represent his home country in table tennis while Laetitia Béraud interviewed to the only two Suriname athletes who represent the smallest state in South America. This and much more you will find in Taipei Talks N°9.
