KAZAN – On October 23rd and 24th, Mrs. Alison Odell, appointed Chair of CESU together with Oleg Matytsin, FISU First Vice-President and President of the NUSF of the Russian Federation, met with the representatives of the Kazan Universiade Organizing Committee, the Volga State Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan to speak about the settlement and development of the FISU Education Center in Kazan.
The other items of the agenda were the FISU Conference that will take place during the Universiade most probably between July 7th and 11th, 2013.
The OC of Kazan confirmed its interest in attending the next FISU Forum that will take place in Taipei City from March 26th to 31st, 2012.
During their stay, the FISU delegates had the opportunity to visit the sport venues that are part of the Volga State Academy.
