SHENZHEN – Yesterday, August 5th, the first group of the Chinese delegation arrived at the Athletes’ Village of the upcoming Summer Universiade in Shenzhen. These 385 participants, including delegation officials, as well as athletes and coaches of Track & Field, Football, Volleyball, Golf, Sailing, Taekwondo and Fencing, will join the openning ceremony of the Athletes’ Village which is going to be held today.
Some advanced teams of delegations from Japan, Great Britain and Germany have also arrived in Shenzhen.
The Village officially opens today, August 6.
