First Session of the New Steering Committee in Lausanne

LAUSANNE – The new Steering Committee of FISU met in Lausanne last weekend. Six weeks after the election, the meeting was intended to appoint the Chairs of the various committees of FISU and the preparation of the topics to be proposed at the Executive Committee meeting to be held in Brussels on 4 and 5 March, 2016. “It was important for the Steering Committee to meet right after the elections because half of the members are new to this Committee”, President Matytsin commented.
Indeed besides President Oleg Matytsin, 1st VP Leonz Eder, Vice President Luciano Cabral and Treasurer Danzandorj Bayasgalan, the VPs Marian Dymalski, Yang Liguo, Leopold Senghor and the first assessor Verena Burk are the new members of this Committee.
