FISU HQ closes, employees to work from home

LAUSANNE — In the interest to protect its staff during the complex, unprecedented and developing COVID-19 pandemic, FISU instructed its employees to work from home from the afternoon of Friday 13 March onwards.

While there have been no reported cases of the novel coronavirus among the FISU staff, the federation asked its employees to no longer use the FISU Headquarters on the University of Lausanne campus.

The FISU Secretariat has decided that until 15 April, all meetings at the FISU HQ, as well as all missions abroad, are cancelled. The work of FISU to advance university sport worldwide continues with FISU in daily contact with representatives of the local organising committees for future FISU educational and sports events.

As part of our ongoing efforts to keep you informed and as up to date as possible on the impact of COVID-19 on university sports,  FISU will immediately be in contact with its Member Associations and the public-at-large in the case of any notable developments.
