The women's team from Spain made quite an impression winning the gold, which is a good omen fore the next edition which will take place in Valencia, Spain in 2010. In the men's competition, the Swiss team fought like lions to take home the championship's title as they wanted to mark their presence being the previous host when the WUC was staged in Lausanne in 2006. It was indeed a fierce battle which will soon be online on the FISU TV website at http://www.fisu.tv. Those who can't wait can already have a look at the website of the Organising Committee at http://wwww.wuctriathlon2008.org.
