BRUSSELS – This week, in the premises of the International Foundation for the Development of University Sport (FIDSU) in Brussels, Belgium, the World University Championships department received the bidding committees for the 2018 WUCs. No fewer than 45 bids submitted by 28 countries representing 4 continents were presented and analysed by the Evaluation Committee. Criteria such as accommodation, transportation as well as marketing and communication plans or atmosphere during the event were discussed in detail to ensure the quality events for the student-athletes worldwide.
