PORTO – Now that we are in an advanced phase of the competition at the 7th World University Beach Volleyball Championship, only the best teams remain in the tournament!
Yesterday’s matches were just fantastic! From early morning till later afternoon both men’s and women’s teams, that still were in the competition, fought for a place in today’s games. They are doing their very best to win and carry home the gold medal. In those matches there were some teams that stood out so they really have a chance to win the medal race, like POR2, ESP1 and NOR1, in the women’s competition, as well as POL1, GER1 and GER3, in the men’s tournament.
On the other hand, there were a few teams that already went home even though they struggled to keep up in the competition. 30 pairs from 18 countries were eliminated on yesterday’s matches.
