BUDAPEST – HUSF, the Hungarian University Sports Federation, is preparing the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 4th Summer Universiade which was held in Budapest in 1965.
At this occasion, they would like to gather the former athletes having participated at the 1965 Summer Universiade to celebrate this prestigious event with them. The celebration will be organized in cooperation with the Budapest Municipality and the Hungarian Olympic Committee.
This anniversary celebration will take place on 27 August 2015 at the Budapest City Hall -and the Puskas Stadium.
NUSFs are asked to notify their former athletes who competed at the 4th Summer Universiade and encourage them to be present to promote the importance of the university sports movement in the world.
In case they want to part of the celebrations, there is an on-line registration link and detailed programme which will be accessible on the HUSF website www.egyetemisport.hu from June 15, 2015.
An accommodation package will be offered to the attendants who would like to visit the beautiful city of Budapest at this occasion.
