FISU at the EU SPORT FORUM

MALTA - In the context of the Maltese European Presidency, the country is welcoming more than 300 delegates on March 8 and 9 for the biggest EU meeting on Sport held once a year. FISU is represented by its Director of Educational Services Kolë Gjeloshaj. Many topics which are high on the FISU agenda are tackled during this two days such as Anti-Doping (ref. to the FISU-WADA e-text book), Innovation in Sport (ref. to the topic of the FISU Conference held during the Winter Universiades) and also Gender issues and Volunteering. These topics are not the only ones that are part of the Forum. For more information we suggest you to connect to the following website: https://ec.europa.eu/sport/events/201700127-eu-sport-forum_en

We have to notice that amongst the delegates in attendance a couple of persons are involved with FISU. The European University Sport Association (EUSA) is represented by Matjaz Pecovnik and Andrej Pisl. Moreover, two FISU Executive Committee members were present as well: Kairis Ulp representing Estonia, and Hilkka Pöyhönen representing the Olympic Committee of Finland.
