Epic was represented by Alan Shaw, Project Lead; Paul Freudensprung, Project Director and Ubert Porzio Giovanola, Project Manager; CUSI by its President, Lorenzo Lentini, and FISU by the Summer Universiade Director, Marc Vandenplas, and the Sports Executive Assistant, Melanie Stallecker.

In addition to defining the scope of the Universiade, FISU also took the opportunity to discuss the preparation of the 1st CTI Inspection Visit that is scheduled to take place from 5 to 14 December, 2016. The purpose of this visit will be crucial for the final selection of the sports venues.
