Winter Games 30 January 2011

 K 95 a very spectacular night event

Matej Dobovsek, Double Gold

ERZURUM – January 31st-The Ski Jumping competition continued today in Erzurum with a fantastic K95 event scheduled once again early in the evening. The stadium was full of crowd to see the jumpers and the atmosphere was really special with heavy snowfalls.

We had the same podium as for the k125 event with Matej Dobovsek from Slovenia performing two excellent jumps and finishing first of both rounds with a 269.0 score. Maciej Kot, from Poland was a bit less impressive with 254.9 points. Very close to him was Ziga Mandl, also from Slovenia who ranked third with 254.5 points! It’s again fantastic double for Slovenia host country of our Next Winter Universiade in 2013.
