Biathlon Queen designs 2014 WUC Orienteering Medals

OLOMOUC – The current overall leader and the winner of several Women`s Biathlon World Cup races Gabriela Soukalová graduated from an Arts School, specializing in engraving. The Organising Committee of the 19^th World University Orienteering Championship asked her to design the medals for this FISU event … and she agreed. Gabriela Soukalová started preparing the designs. In the picture above you can see the result of her work: the plaster model of the medals.

Who will be the first student-athlete to win one of the real medals in the Czech Republic this Summer? We will know the answer within 210 days!
