Cooperation – FUSC – EUSA – AZS

POLAND – On 21 September Poland was hosting the Chinese, Central and Eastern Europe Dialogue Conference. On this occasion, by the involvement of the FUSC (Chinese Student Sport Federation) a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the FUSC represented by its Vice-President Liguo Yang and EUSA (European University Sports Association) represented by its President Adam Roczek. The document was validated by Marek Rocki, President of the Polish University Sports Association (AZS).

After the signing ceremony all the involved parties – FUSC, EUSA, FISU, AZS – have been invited for an official dinner which was held in the headquarters of the Polish Olympic Committee (POC). Host of this meeting was POC President Andrzej Kraśnicki and Secretary-General Adam Krzesiński.

The meeting was a good occasion to introduce the working structures of the present sport federations and the chances to realize the cooperative opportunities mentioned in the Memorandum of Understanding.

The FISU Secretary-General Eric Saintrond and the 1st Vice-President Oleg Matytsin singled out the importance of the Polish University Sports Association in realising this kind of cooperative agreements. They underlined the high position of AZS in the world of the student sport movement.

Bartłomiej Korpak, Secretary-General of AZS assured that Poland will work closely together with FUSC in the realization of cooperation projects.
