Today, December 12th, the FISU Seminar for World University Championship Hosts came to an end after another day of lectures and presentations.

Lionel Arlin from FISU partner Gerflor, explained why FISU chose for one of the leading companies in sport flooring. Kolë Gjeloshaj, Director of Education outlined the protocol matters at a World University Championship while Director for the Winter Universiade Milan Augustin talked about the relationship with the ISF delegates. FISU Media Rep. Christian Pierre showed the WUCOC delegates how they can rely on the FISU Media Department for their event and Executive Assistant Paulo Ferreira explained the relationship CTI-OC-NUSF and gave an insight in today’s technology.

Fernand Bottelberghs, CICl Committee (CIC) explained all important accreditation matters for the CIC and Dr. Thomas Crisp revealed the responsibilities of the Medical Committee. Sports Manager Michal Buchel talked about the Committee of Sport Regulations (CRS).
Dr. Thomas CrispCTI Chair for the WUC Sinisa Jasnic thanked every body for their attendance and FISU Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond officially closed the inaugural WUC dedicated seminar. ‘I would like to warmly thank the representatives of the WUCOCs who have joined us for this seminar. By attending this event you confirmed you are paying great attention to the preparation of the World University Championship that has been attributed to you.’ Mr. Saintrond said. ‘With such a motivation we have no doubt that you and your organization will be very successful in 2010.’
