Through a video message, Andreas Csonka, Head of the Swiss University Sports Federation SHSV, spoke directly to the athletes and wished them all the best for their competitions in Taipei. Furthermore, Marilen Matter, Head of Performance Sports SHSV, explained in a short input presentation how the federation plans to expand the existing support network for student athletes. Head of Delegation Renato Maggi followed with information about the Athletes’ Village, the competition venues and the training facilities.

The Team Meeting also offered an opportunity to try on the Swiss Universiade gear or to get to know fellow athletes and team officials.

The Swiss Delegation is full of anticipation and excitement about the upcoming Summer Universiade. Adhering to their motto ‘Show your passion, meet the challenge, seek success’, the athletes are motivated to show their best performances in Taipei.
