LAUSANNE – The team selection was made for all nations participating in team sport competitions at the 29th Summer Universiade in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei this August.
The following team sport competitions will be held:
- Men’s Basketball (24 teams/8 reserve teams);
- Women’s Basketball (16 teams/8 reserve teams);
- Men’s Football (16 teams/3 reserve teams);
- Women’s Football (15 teams/1 reserve team);
- Men’s Volleyball (23 teams/1 reserve team);
- Women’s Volleyball (16 teams/4 reserve team);
- Men’s Waterpolo (16 teams/1 reserve team);
- Women’s Waterpolo (11 teams/1 reserve team);
- Men’s Baseball (9 teams/1 reserve team).
The team draw to set up the different competition pools per team sport will take place during the Heads of Delegation Meeting in Taipei from 8 to 12 May, 2017.
