Technical Chair for Football John Warnock inspects a venue
SHENZHEN – As mentioned in our previous news on the subject, all Technical Chairs of the 24 sports of the 2011 Universiade program, are visiting Shenzhen in different groups. Basketball CT’s Chairs,Michalis Kyritsis and Ulf Ohrman, Water-polo CT Chair Jean-Paul Clemençon, Fencing CT Chair Julius Kralik, Football CT Chair John Warnock, Tennis CT Chair Eiichi Kawatei and Golf CT Chair Roy Robinson have also completed their visit.
At the agenda: the visit of numerous venues, review of the equipment list, of the first draft of the Technical Handbooks, of the competitions schedules. It makes very busy days for our experienced CT Chairs.
CTI President Stavros Douvis and members of the FISU staff are on the spot to support our CT Chairs and to assist them.
Kazan Sports Competition Managers, Gennady Vetrov (basketball), Erkin Khabibov (Tennis), Irek Zinnurov (Water-polo) and Maxim Ozerov (fencing) are also attending these visits and meetings in order to gain experience for the 2013 Universiade they will organize.
