IF Staff Seminar on Information Technology in Lausanne

LAUSANNE The sixth IF Staff Seminar 2010 took place at the Maison du Sport International in Olympic capital and home of international sport Lausanne. This session focused on Information Technology (IT) under the theme New Trends in Technology. 

The former FISU Technical Chair and current Secretary-General of the International Archery Federation (FITA) Tom Dielen was the attending IF Director facilitating the seminar. FISU was represented by IT Manager Pascal Libert, Administration and HR General Manager François-Philippe Draguet and Executive Assistant Paulo Ferreira.

Presentations were given by METASUD, a communication and knowledge transfer company working with UEFA, Nicole Delaloye (International Hockey Federation), Pierre Germeau (Sportaccord Convention) and by the session chairperson, Tom Dielen.

The seminar had 27 registered participants from 16 international sports federations and organisations: Fédération Aéronautique internationale (FAI), International Archery Federation (FITA), Fédération internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS), International Rowing Federation (FISA), International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Fédération internationale de Bobsleigh et Tobogganing (FIBT), Fédération Internationale d’Equitation (FEI), Fédération Internationale d’Escrime (FIE), Association Européenne de Golf (EAG), Fédération Internationale de Hockey (FIH), Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU), Fédération Mondiale de Taekwondo (WTF), Fédération  Internationale de Tennis de Table (ITTF), Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS) and Sportaccord Convention.

The next IF Staff Seminar will be on the 9th November on Marketing and Sponsorship.
