TAIPEI CITY – Day four of the Forum addressed University sport as fertile ground for leadership development with a keynote speech by Dr Jensen, and was followed student presentations on leadership. This was a prelude for the afternoon’s announcement of the remaining three students to be chosen for the Student Committee.
The afternoon session had the ISF partners Badminton World Federation and World Archery each offering brief presentations related to how they encourage leadership development.
The highlight of the afternoon was the mentioned announcement of three new members of Student Committee. This was done following the student’s work developed throughout the forum week.The new members are: Lotte Marie Uutinen (FIN), Hao Cheng (CHN) and Makhosandile Majeke (RSA).
FISU Student Committee
This nomination was followed by the first FISU Student Committee meeting chaired by Ms Renata Bojczuk-Kosciukiewicz (POL) and Arnaud Richard (FRA). The full committee is now composed by Natasha Campos Mendez (CRC), Kasper Czarnota (POL), Rosa Delots (FRA), Justin Fauteux (CAN), Scott Krapf (USA), Diacunda Sene (SEN), Choo Young (KOR) and the new members Lotte Marie Uutinen (FIN), Hao Cheng (CHN) and Makhosandile Majeke (RSA).
