VADUZ – On the occasion of the ‘International Day of University Sports’ on 20 September, the University of Liechtenstein, in partnership with the University Sports Federation of Liechtenstein (LHSV) and the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee, organized an event in order to celebrate the #IDUS2016.
The activities started during the lunch break, when all guests at the university´s cafeteria received a TheraBand for being active in the office or in between lectures.
Later on, students, employees and guests were invited to participate in different try-out sessions to get to know the University´s sports programme. Among others, the participants were able to play floorball matches, compete in table tennis or join the Freeletics session.
The International Day of University Sports was then concluded with an information fair where students had the chance to inform themselves about the sports offers at the University of Liechtenstein and in the country. A relaxing atmosphere with drinks and pasta dishes ensured a smooth and casual gathering of information and a calm end of the day.
