If in the first matches of the World Unviersity Championship, the Brazilian women’s team managed to win in rout, and easily, the night of Thursday (7) was different! The selection of New Zealand came with a technical and a strong team. Despite the score of 13-2 between Brazil and New Zealand, the first half was tight and the victory did not seem so sure.

In a tough match, the women’s team of Russia beat Mexico by 2-0, in the afternoon of 7 July. With fast and accurate moves, the Russian girls defeated the Mexican team, which had come from a draw against the Portuguese selection (2-2).
