The 2010 annual FISU Ski Commission meeting, hosted by Slovenian University Sports Association (SUSA), was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia between April 23rd and 25th, 2010. The main part of the meeting took place at the University of Ljubljana, where the delegates were welcomed by the Rector of the University, prof. dr. Radovan Stanislav Pejovnik and the President of SUSA prof. dr. Otmar Kugovnik.

Radovan Stanislav PejovnikThe FISU Ski Commission meeting was held at the same time as the EUSA Student Commission Meeting, so the organisers enabled a joint part of the programme, including a sightseeing tour, joint dinner and an introductory session. In the plenary session on Saturday, all participants were briefly acquainted with the University of Ljubljana, presented by its Rector prof. dr. Radovan Stanislav Pejovnik; Slovenian University Sports Association, presented by its President prof. dr. Otmar Kugovnik; European University Sports Association, presented by its Secretary-General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik; International University Sports Federation, and the upcoming Winter Universiades – Erzurum 2011, presented by FISU Winter Universiade Director Mr Milan Augustin and FISU CTI Winter Universiade Chair Mr Roger Roth.
Special presentation was also made for the 26th Winter Universiade Maribor, presented by Technical Director Mr Marko Rataj, as this Universiade will take place in Slovenia in 2013.
Following the plenary session, the participants formed several groups for the working sessions. FISU participants divided into the Alpine skiing group, chaired by Mr Hans Falsehr, CT Alpine Skiing and Nordic skiing group, chaired by Mrs Zofia Stefania Kielpinska, CT Cross-Country Skiing; while EUSA participants continued with their own meeting.
In the meetings, the twenty participants discussed the past activities and University FIS competitions, with plans and recommendations for the future activities, including the Winter Universiade Erzurum 2011 and Maribor 2013.
The meeting officially concluded with the dinner where prof. dr. Milan Zvan, as the SUSA representative and FISU Ski Commission member from Slovenia thanked the delegates for attending the meeting, and welcomed them back to Ljubljana. Mr Roger Roth, CTI Winter Universiade Chair, expressed his satisfaction of the organisation of the meeting any accompanying activities, and thanked the organisers on behalf of the participants.
The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Germany; details are yet to be confirmed.
