FISU meets with ISU for a Work Session

LAUSANNE – “Today, May 26th, FISU representatives Roger ROTH (SUI), CTI WU Chair;  Marie LUNDMARK (FIN), CT Chair Figure Skating; Milan AUGUSTIN (SVK), Director Winter Universiade and Jiho KIM (KOR), Assistant to WU met with the Director General of ISU Fredi SCHMID (SUI) in order to discuss the essential points concerning the technical nature of Figure Skating and Synchronized Skating.

A fruitful working session of both sides will help the FISU Winter Universiade department to improve its technical elements of the FISU Regulations during the upcoming preparation for the 2013 Winter Universiade that will be held in Maribor (SLO).

The agenda of the working session highlighted important topics as entries procedure, clearance certificate of ISU, selection of Judges, Referees and Technical panels etc.

The ISU Director General provided the FISU delegates with a lot of valuable information and suggestions that have been simultaneously agreed. This working session has been extremely important in order to conduct a world top level Figure Skating & Synchronized Skating competition during the Winter Universiade following the recent technical rules of ISU.
