The 2014 cross-country WUC in the local press
ENTEBBE – A couple of hours away from the World University Cross Country Championship to be held in Uganda this saturday, the first accreditations were distributed while the last delegations arrived. With delegations from the five continents represented, the event is already a success, but for the athletes the key moment will be the races which will be held on Saturday at 11:30 for women and 12:30 for men.
After Woodball in 2010 it is a new World University Championship that offers the chance to student athletes to discover the wonderful landscapes of Uganda located on the edges of Lake Victoria.
The golf course of Entebbe will tomorrow welcome the race of officials as a test event followed by the General Technical Meeting to set up the last details and inform all participants of the details of the Championships.
