In 2016, the USA Team duo of Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes teamed up for the title. “To bring this gold medal home for USA, we couldn’t be happier,” Ms. Claes said. Poland’s Michal Bryl and Kacper Kujawiak won the 2016 men’s title.

“We have a couple other exciting plans for players and fans when they’re in Munich for the World University Championship event,” Mrs. Burk added, “but more will be revealed at a later time. Stay tuned.”
