Reallocation of 2014 WUC Archery

Championships 21 November 2013

LAUSANNE – Following the withdrawal of the town of Louvain- la-Neuve as host of the 10th World University Archery Championship in 2014, the FISU Executive Committee and the FISU World University Championships Department is pleased to announce that the city of Legnica (POL), host of several events of the World Archery Federation, will host the 10th and penultimate edition of the World University Archery Championship.

Poland, which will also host the 2014 World University Cycling Championships in Jelenia Gora and the 2014 WUC Chess in Katowice, will now also host archery in Legnica. The exact dates are yet to be determined and will be announced shortly on the WUC events page. Our members will also directly be informed by the WUC Department.

FISU likes to sincerely thank the Polish University Sports Federation (AZS) and its three WUC Organising Committees for their contribution to the success of the FISU World University Championships.
