ERZURUM – January 30th- The Alpine Skiing competition continue today at the brand new Konakli Ski Resort near Erzurum. 91 competitors were registered for this Men’s Super G event. The race was very demanding due to the heavy snowfalls and the strong wind of yesterday and a lot of skiers did not finish the race. This year the level is quite high at this Universiade ski competition. Indeed, some nations brought excellent competitors this time like the Team from the Czech Republic. Adam Zika is one of them. He won the Gold today in Konakli. Calle Lindh from Sweden finished second and Bernhard Graf from Austria ranked third.

Tomorrow the competition will continue with the super combi event, a first in our history.
