Continental Association News: EUSA Seminar

On November 29th, the European University Sports Association (EUSA) had its Executive board Meeting in Belgrade. This meeting was followed the day after by the EUSA Seminar. The Seminar started by two main speeches by Mr. Sinisa Jasnic. In his capacity of President of the NUSF of Serbia and EUSA Vice-President he welcomed the EUSA delegates. Then Mr. Alberto Gualtieri EUSA President presented the programme of the day. Both of them are members of the FISU Family, as Chair of the CTI Championships and Marketing Committee and the latter as vice-chair of the CTI Summer Universiade.

The seminar was divided in two main parts. At the occasion of celebration of the foundation of four National University Sports Federations, their delegates presented their history and activities. Hungary for its 100 years, Switzerland for its 75 years, Slovenia for its 10 years and Estonia for its 15 years. These national presentations were followed by the presentation of the 2008 events: the Friendship Games in Israel, the Sell Games in Finland and all the EUSA Championships. The second part was dedicated to the work between the Organising Committees and the Technical Delegates.
